Merriman had somehow gotten to Nathanial whom he was now talking with. The conversation was private until " Hoya" Bartimaeus popped in. The converatsion reached its climax, Bartimeaus throwning in a few pointers. Making damn right sure Nathanial understood. Nathaniel would wake up when his brother did. He had been put in sub-animation he would not age it was his idea. Bartimaeus added some jabs here and there insults flew threw the air, arugements broke out between Nathaniel and Bartimeaus. Merriman gave a sigh and began to talk. His tone held that touch to it that destroyed all arguments and questions.

Carrie had to stop. She was tired out. Her legs shaking. But, she changed into a tiger and took off at a slow jog.

'forgive me' Shadow said lightly in her head it was calm, gentle soothing tone yet was faint as if heard from very far away. A fading note clung to it like a dieing grasp. Warm energy rushed threw her, to fill her veins and regain her strength. Foolish as it may seem he wants to help her. He always seemed to want to help her, yet so distant he was so reserved. Never wishing to get close to anyone, not knowing how to trust. A silent movement of wings above, as a rock falcon flew overhead. Circling once before diving down swooping low close to her. Letting out its cry ' listen for the falcons cry, heed the falcons warning ' came to the distant sounding voice, barely there yet a strength carried in the tones. His precense faded swifter now leaving her on her own....
The sky grew dark and brooding, as the wind picked up its sad notes. World that was once lively seemed to be fading. As its borders waned the wind whistled. Darkness pounded against the sunless morning. A red moon moved to take its place, shinning its bloodly light upon the surface of the world. The raven black sky blotted out all stars, nothing but a red moon shone overhead. Giving light to the weary, and a bid of warning it held.
Danger made its choke hold on the unwary, gripping them and destroying there hope. Shattering wills and destroying all that lay in its wake. Dark overhangs loomed threantingly overhead. Coldness whipped about as rain began to fail. Despite the deathly cloud cover, a red creature moon hung bright overhead. Forseeing the deveasting blow the worlds would be dealt.
A loud cry split threw the night, sending land dwelling creature scurying for cover. The loud cry of a brilliant rock falcon sent its warning note threw the air. Wings fluttered and the falcon cried again, warning all of the danger yet to come. Warning against the darkness, against what is yet to have come. The last seconds ticked by a powerful stroke the falcon took the air. Flying high in the center of the creature moon. The falcon let out a unearthly cry, a unsettling chilling sound. Very faint the world seemed to whisper " listen for the falcons cry, heed its warning "
Silence fell over the night as lines between worlds became unbalanced. Everything was falling apart, darkness roamed the earth. Danger around every turn, no one was safe this night. No one could escape this plight. Death awaited the world, the wind seemed to take a breath. As if in passing as if whispering a final goodbye.

Carrie had to stop at least for water. But, then kept going. She took off running. Her paws hitting the ground one at a time. She had to keep going.

Whisperings upon the air carrying sad news at it made its way passed her. Something about a Prince something was happening. The borders seemed to be nearly gone. Darkness was staring down closing in on the world. Suffacting life as it moved its way across. The falcon let outs it chilling cry, and somewhere perhaps a trick of the imagination. A roar echoed across the land could it be a dragon?
For a moment the creature moon burned then went out then came back. Someone whispered on the wind a voice of the dead " So begins the Princes Eternal Night " the voice seemed gone. " It has started the passing " another voice whispered. " morning shall never come " another's voice carried more loudly as if over a roaring vast sea. " so it has started, so it shall stay " a dark voice said in a calm self assured matter. " Don't be so sure " another voice of a girl spoke up chiming in. " Silence, it has begun with the passing..." the deep voice was interupted by a lighter one in a near whisper " comes the Eternal Night "...

Carrie couldn't take it anymore. She morphed into a faster wild cat and ran even faster. She couldn't let this end. She could see the last place ahead. She ran too fast to even stop long enough to chat. She then soon found her way running all the way back.

The place she seeked would soon come into view. As she got nearer she would see a white fire light lines around the tomp the top of it. A lid could now be seen on the tomb. The black tomb stood out even in the darkness of night. Three people stood aside there outlines could be made out. One looked remarkably like Shadow. This must be his younger brother who is ten years old. A boy that looked about sixteen stood by him this was Bartimaeus however in the form of Ptolemy. Merriman's serious carved features easy to make out. The fierce beak like nose and the face that could be out of stone unmistakable. Yet Shadow's memory was no were to be found. " he's reserving his engeries he used nearly all of it to keep you safe and to give you more engergy. he should be fine when he wakes up, his old injuries hopefully all were healed before hand. " Merriman spoke in a emotionless a bit cold voice. Nathaniel moved to go forward Bartimaeus put a hand on his shoulder and shook his head.

Carrie morphed back to normal and sent everything down. " Now, what do I do with these things" she asked. She wanted to get this done. She was almost ready to sleep.

The area was silent the sings were clowing. The line in the tomb never wavered it was truly there. Wind whispered its silent tunes telling its secert's in a mysterious way. Six eyes watched her in a forgotten silence. The grass swayed and a single leaf fell near her feet. Now blue tinge lit its unearthly light on the tomb. A resting figure could be seen within it. A unrestful silence began to stir its note's around her. All that could be seen of the figures was there eyes. Nathanial has black hair, and brown eyes he resembles his brother in many ways, yet is not the seem. Merriman put a hand on the ten year olds shoulders. As Bartimaeus cursed underneath his breath. They all watched Carrie " we can not help you " finally Merriman spoke his tone was not friendly yet not cold. It held no anwsers and gave no warmth. " we...we thought he would have told you " Nathanial said holding back his emotions choking when he began to speak. Bartimaeus merely glared at her before looking away. Then looked to Shadow's tomb and said a bit coldly yet was there sadness in it.." So much for your promise ". The voice in Carrie's mind was close yet farway. Distant as if it was not even there. It seemed the wind was speaking yet no one else could hear it's words. 'your tired, i can tell you what you need to know. I can not talk for long.' for awhile no words followed. Almost unaudible one would have to strain greatly to hear the words, that were there yet not there. Close yet distant as if heard from thousands of countless miles away. ' i give you the book you shall need ' a book appeared before her. The voice now seemed more gone than before time was running out, little time remained. ' it will tell you what you need to know after so you will forget about it. for six signs shall burn. ' with that the voice nearly was all but gone. The tinge was hard to make out now you'd think it was just a trick of the light a mere feint. (you don't really need to describe it, speaking as she will not remember what she did with it either, she will remember searching for the signs but will not remember the spell and magic she used)

The rather insignafact rock next to the majestic tomb seemed to glow with a white light that faded into the majestic black tomb. With a wisper like a sigh on the wind ' you promised don't forget ' the voice was light and beautiful yet strong and commanding. Upon the tomb a name was wrote out were none had been before Genevieve it read in flowing letters.
A blue tinge glowed lightly once more a book would appear in her hands. She would not hear the thought he thought at all. He would never forget his promise but there was another one he had made to himself as well.

(OOC: skipping ahead if i tried to explain the incantions and to many other things it'd be way to confusing and trusting you'd have at least 2000 plus words at the most. Typed it out once wish i still had it cause i aint do it again)
Time passed it drug on at a snails pass it seemed. It woudl be forever uncertain what happened during that time. A small sound of diamond on dimoand a soft beuatiful sound, to some it would be at least. The tomb slid open as soft as the wind.Shadow sat up and got out of the tomb. If he had gotten out before it would have been the end of everything. The worlds themself seemed to sigh witih releif. As if by magic the world snapepd back into order. "fa...BROTHER!" a small voice came and a frame lunched it's self from the shadows. Shadow had Merriman go ahead and wake up Nathaniel. Nathaniel is ten and is tall for his age. His arms wrapped tightly around his brother. " Nathaniel " Shadow said lightly but to Carrie it may be more in a fatherly tone. Nathaniel resembles his older brother. Escept for his brown eyes other than that its practically a perfect match or as close as it can be. " give me a moment " he said softly to no one directly. Walking over to the small insignificat looking rock. He knelt down a strange light glowed warmth filtred into the earht, a silvery glow repated its self. " yes Genevive i remember...." he whipsred softly. The earth displaced it's self and the light blinded everyone. Genievie was dead but is no more. " go home Halfdan should be waiting " he said. " But i i don't.." she was silenced with a single look. " alright " she said a bit sadly her light brown hair flowed over her shoulders. Her fair features and bright eyes, she seemed to glow. Truly she is beautiful yet Shadow seems to take no notice of it. She went threw the passage and dissappeared. " Prince thank goodness you'r back " people croweded around him " go back to your jobs, " what ever else he said was lost in a language Carrie would not know. Nathaniel walked over to Carrie " who are you, I'm Nathaniel Sumarus...brother " he said brightly looking up at her. The boy seemed very tempted to call himself, Sumaru's son, and almost called his brother his father. Once Shadow got free from the others the crowd disspersed itself accordingly. Shadow walked over to Carrie, " i must thank you " he said putting a hand on her shoulder. Returning her engergy and her strenght. She would not remember the process, but the reason he gave his life was easy to understand. Nathaniel stood close to his brother smiling happily up at him. Though Shadow's attention was on Carrie. " if you have questions i shall anwser them now, as i promised " he said his tone was kind as always to her.

" I don't have any questions. But, I'm happy that I was able to help you. I was proud that I had kept my promise to you" said Carrie. She smiled big. She hadn't smiled in a very long time. But, this smile appeared because she was happy.

Nathaniel looked from Shadow to Carrie. Apparently Carrie had not caught young Nathaniels temptation to call his brother father instead. It was a week later that seem night, he was walking and Nathaniel was at his side. Sticking to his brother like glue. Spotting some lights amongs the park he did not think anything of it. But can anything truly last in this world forever. Shadow was distant from people, yet Nathaniel seemed not to notice. " Oh there's a bench " Nathaniel said, Shadow honestly had no idea why his little brother dragged him here....again. Shadow sat down on the bench it was night time. " ok ok Tell me that rhyme again PLease" Nathaniel begged Shadow. With a sigh knowing Carrie and her friends were listening. " which one " Shadow asked not really thinking. " the one that starts like One Find day.." Shadow cut Nathaniel off. Knowing this Rhyme is rather creepy. Yet he began the way his tone, blended with the words. The chill they sent up once spine. It is Halloween night...and perhaps he is living yet he is not living. " One fine day in the middle of the night, Two dead boys got up to fight. Back to back they faced each other, pulled out their swords and shot one another. The deaf cop on the beat heard the noise and came and shot the two dead boys." With the rhyme finished and its haunting notes lingered in the night air. A strange maleovent look that promised death for a moment seemed to flicker some were in Shadow's memories. As if he knew they where there he spoke in a calm tone. Yet a emotionless tone, something in it however was kind. " What? It's a rhyme someone used to tell me. You never heard it before?"..." pehraps to you it's creepy as shit." Shadow stated drly after awhile. Nathaniel beamed happily when he turned around. Resembling Shadow so much that, perhaps someone and likely alot of people may think Shadow is Nathaniels father.

Carrie was mad. She sat infront of a tree and pulled her knees close to her chest.

Shadow sinced her emotions and got up and went over to the tree. He heard this arguement weather he was suppost to or not. Nathaniel had a ward around him he was safe from harm. Shadow stood infront of Carrie. His blue eyes watched her in a calmness, that could be unnerving. Emotions were not able to be seen if they were there. After awhile he sat down beside her. Choosing silence over speaking words this time.

Sincing her eyes on him he did not look to her for awhile. Thinking a bit if onyl for a few seconds of an anwser. " Some do things for they feel they can control the other, while some are insecure and wish for someone to fix the problem, when all they do is hurt the one they wish help to come from. There could be many reasons Carrie " he said. It was a good anwser if not a bit confusing. Yet it made since, he stated two reasons, and left the rest for her to figure out. Shadow however seems to trust her more than before. He had promised to anwser her questions, yet would he still since she passed that chance by. Nathaniel was tempted to go over to his brother badly.
